Job summary

The Sierra At Tahoe Resort is seeking a Lead Security Officer to oversee daily security operations, assist the Chief of Security, and help maintain a safe guest and employee environment.

You will conduct patrols, manage Lost & Found, respond to incidents, prepare reports, and coordinate with Ski Patrol and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and safety during the seasonal term.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six to twelve months related experience preferred.
• Must pass a post-offer background check.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief of Security with daily tasks and staff supervision.
• Oversee Lost & Found operations and daily logs.
• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols of the resort.
• Protect property, guests, and employees; ensure safety.
• Investigate accidents and suspected crimes.
• Complete reports and required documentation.
• Coordinate with Ski Patrol and Guest Services as needed.
• Maintain a professional, guest-focused demeanor.
• Adhere to safety policies and standard procedures.
