Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Successful completion of CA BSIS training modules.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Must be registered with CA BSIS as Security Guard/Patrol or Private Security Officer; background check.
• Valid driver's license and Resort Certification for equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief of Security with daily tasks, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating department staff.
• Manage Lost & Found operations, inventories, and daily logs; coordinate with property owner.
• Communicate daily duties and projects to department staff; patrol property by vehicle or on foot.
• Provide safety protection for property, employees, and guests; assist with investigations.
• Complete daily reports and assist with locker inquiries; support Ski Patrol and Guest Services.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety at the resort; participate in safety meetings; meet departmental goals.
