Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a hands-on installation leader to guide our Alaska project teams. You will plan, coordinate, and execute installation projects from kickoff to completion, installing and commissioning access control, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems.

Relocation assistance is offered for qualified candidates. In this role you will mentor field crews, ensure safety and quality, manage schedules, and maintain strong customer communications to deliver successful projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated programming aptitude.
Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
Experience bending conduit.
Proven Leadership experience in installation or field operations.
Hands-on experience installing and programming access control, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems.
Familiarity with IP video, door controllers, readers, alarm panels and related software.

Responsibilities

Install, program, and commission access control, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems; mentor field crews; ensure safety and quality.
Manage installation schedules and troubleshoot issues; maintain strong customer and internal communications.
Coordinate installations with police/fire departments and handle records for emergency notifications.
Coach and mentor less experienced installers; oversee large project teams.
Remote travel required, using provided company vehicle and equipment.
