Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Security Installation Team Manager to lead and coordinate resources for timely installations across territories, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. You will plan, procure, forecast, and report on installation projects while developing teams and maintaining safety standards.

The role requires strong management and security systems experience, with a focus on leadership, budget accuracy, and collaborative work in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Three plus years of management/leadership experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial skills.
• Proven relationship-building abilities in a matrix organization.
• Five years’ experience in Access control, CCTV, DVM, and Surveillance systems.
• Bachelor of Science degree or associate degree or equivalent 2-year electronic trade school training with relevant work experience.
• Experience leading and building a technical team.
• Minimum 3–5 years of electrical and electronic equipment hands-on installation experience with demonstrated mechanical skill.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Security Installation Strategy aligned with Market leadership to meet quarterly, monthly and weekly targets.
• Plan, schedule, supervise and lead installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage procurement of equipment for installations and prepare related progress/expense reports.
• Forecast and track weekly financial performance of the installation team.
• Maintain knowledge of current standards and new developments for commercial security.
• Lead safety and develop career paths for technicians to enable growth.
