Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. seeks a Security Systems Installer Team Lead to oversee daily installation activity on customer sites, ensuring safety, timeliness, and compliance with specifications.

You will work with Fire Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems while coaching installers for a professional customer experience. You will read and interpret blueprints, supervise installation work, and coordinate with dispatch and customers to keep projects moving smoothly on site.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED required with relevant trade experience.
Experience as a commercial installer/technician in low‑voltage systems preferred.
Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specs.
Hands‑on experience with Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV systems.

Responsibilities

Install, program, troubleshoot, configure, and service Fire Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems.
Lead installation teams on larger projects and support on-site execution.
Coach and mentor junior installers to raise team performance.
Read blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specs, and manuals.
Supervise work to meet customer and contract requirements.
Coordinate with dispatch, customers, and emergency services as needed.
Repair, reprogram panels, replace devices, and address low‑voltage issues.
Document work, activity, and job status accurately.
Use tools and commissioning devices safely on site.
