Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Search Optimization to lead our SEO, AEO, and GEO initiatives across discovery channels. You will own meaningful workstreams from diagnosis through implementation, collaborating with Content, Product Marketing, Web, and Analytics teams.

You will optimize technical SEO, content strategy, and structured data to improve visibility across search engines and AI-powered answer experiences, enabling growth for business buyers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on AEO/SEO experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of crawlability, indexation, rendering, site architecture, internal linking, canonicalization, structured data, Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with Profound, Writer, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Strong analytical self-sufficiency: move from data to hypothesis, action and business impact.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals and collaboration with developers.
• Clear written and verbal communication and autonomy.
• Curiosity about generative AI and AI-powered search visibility.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize search optimization opportunities across technical SEO, content, site architecture, internal linking, structured data, brand, entity, and third-party authority.
• Build and execute SEO, AEO, and GEO roadmaps tied to qualified traffic, conversion, leads, pipeline, and revenue—not rankings alone.
• Improve ADP’s visibility across Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and other discovery experiences for AI agents.
• Conduct technical audits and translate findings into requirements for web and engineering partners.
• Use data to identify opportunities and measure visibility, citations, share of voice, and downstream conversion.
• Partner with CRO, Web, Content, and Analytics to improve high-intent landing pages and search journeys.
• Identify scalable opportunities across templates, taxonomies, structured data, internal linking, and programmatic content.
• Establish scalable search optimization standards, monitoring, and playbooks for non-technical marketers.
• Stay ahead of changes in search behavior and emerging AI discovery landscapes.
