Job summary

Replit is seeking a strategic SEO leader to own AEO/GEO strategy, citations, and end-to-end SEO. You will collaborate with Web, Growth, Brand, Content, Product, Engineering, and Analytics to drive organic growth across AI-generated answers and traditional search.

In this fast-moving role, you will build a scalable content engine, measure impact, and guide agencies and tools to maximize citations and traffic.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, organic growth, or content-driven acquisition.
• Proven results in AI referral traffic, citations, or rankings.
• Technically fluent in keyword research, crawling, indexing, structured data, site architecture, and log analysis.
• Understand how LLMs retrieve and cite sources across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.
• Strong written communication and ability to guide teams, agencies, and AI tools to produce content that earns citations.
• Ability to measure and report in a messy, fast-changing channel and connect organic visibility to outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the AEO/GEO strategy across major AI and search surfaces.
• Build durable programs for citations from Reddit, YouTube, and high-authority publications.
• Own keyword strategy, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and content-driven growth.
• Direct content engine—blogs, comparison pages, and videos with AI-assisted workflows.
• Build measurement for AI referral traffic, citations, and downstream signups/revenue.
• Lead agency/vendor relationships and ensure quality across search tooling.
