Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a Search Optimization Specialist to lead SEO, AEO, and GEO initiatives, ensuring our content is discoverable, trusted, and cited across platforms. The role partners with content, digital marketing, subject matter experts, and web teams and reports to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager.

You will drive strategy, conduct keyword research, optimize on-page elements, and guide governance while measuring performance and sharing insights with stakeholders across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience in Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise SEO tools.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO and on‑page optimization.
• Familiarity with AEO/GEO concepts or quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement firm-wide search optimization strategy across SEO, AEO, and GEO.
• Collaborate with content, digital marketing, and SMEs to shape search-first content strategies.
• Conduct keyword, query, and topic research for traditional and AI-based discovery.
• Optimize on-page elements and guide off-page optimization including backlinks and authority signals.
• Ensure content is structured for featured snippets, voice search, and AI-generated answers.
• Monitor rankings and visibility; share insights with stakeholders.
• Evolve tooling and measurement approaches for enterprise SEO.
• Establish best practices and documentation across teams.
