Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Lead Scrub Tech – Gynecology for a full-time day shift. You will ensure the operating suite is prepared for procedures, monitor instrument readiness, and assist in staff education.

The role requires a Surgical Technician Certification, BLS, and at least one year in the OR, with a commitment to compassionate patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Surgical Technician Certification required (within 6 months of hire).
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Interacts professionally with patients, family and co-workers.
• Adapts procedures to meet the needs of infant through geriatric patients.
• Prepares room with instruments, supplies for each procedure.
• Assists in positioning, prepping and draping patients for surgery.
