Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a Scrub Tech for a full-time role with comprehensive benefits. You will prepare the operating room, assist during procedures, and support surgical teams across OR and GI Lab procedures.

Required OR experience and current BLS certification; Surgical Technician Certification preferred within 6 months of hire. Join a multi-facility system known for compassionate, ethical patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Surgical Technician Certification required within 6 months of hire or verifiable hospital surgical tech experience prior to 1/1/2018.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Minimum of one year of operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with patients, family and co-workers.
• Prepare the operating room with instruments, sutures and supplies for each procedure.
• Assist in positioning, prepping and draping patients for surgeries.
• Maintain readiness of GI lab equipment and endoscopes as needed.
