Taher, Inc. is a family-owned, chef-driven food service management company specializing in K-12 school lunch management. We are seeking a Lead Foodservice Worker to join our kitchen team in a school setting.

You will help prepare, serve and clean up, while training staff on duties, food safety, and sanitation. Enjoy weekdays hours, a stable schedule, and opportunities to advance in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Able to follow spoken and written directions.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns work to the team and oversees task completion.
• Trains and guides staff on duties, food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
• Prepares and builds food items according to recipes and directions.
• Sets up condiments and utensil areas for the team.
• Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes work stations.
• Contributes to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrates integrity, dependability, and punctuality.
• Maintains professional appearance and guest service quality.
• Follows food safety requirements/guidelines.
• Assists with daily paperwork, ordering, and related tasks.
• Other tasks assigned by leadership.
