Taher, Inc. is a family-owned, chef-driven food service company specializing in K-12 school lunch programs. The Lead Foodservice Worker will help prepare, serve and clean up on weekdays in a school kitchen, contributing to nutritious, chef-created meals for students.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Able to follow spoken and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assigns work, overseeing task completion.
• Trains staff on duties, food safety and sanitation, and customer service.
• Prepares and builds food items per standardized recipes.
• Sets up condiments and utensil areas for the shift.
• Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes work stations.
• Contributes to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrates integrity, dependability and punctuality.
• Maintains professional appearance and guest service.
• Follows food safety requirements.
• Assists with daily paperwork, ordering and related tasks.
• Other tasks assigned by leadership.
