Qualifications

• Standard high school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of industrial, commercial, or educational facility experience.
• Ability to follow custodial practices and direct others; operate cleaning equipment; use ladders safely.
• Must understand energy conservation and possess computer skills as required.

Responsibilities

• Review work performed by Facilities Serviceperson and others on shift.
• Instruct subordinate personnel in proper use of supplies, equipment, ladders and safety procedures.
• Perform the duties of Facilities Serviceperson.
• Activate, monitor, adjust and turn off boilers, AC, power sources, etc.
• Climb ladders to change light bulbs and perform minor repairs as directed.
• Verify security of the school prior to departure and inspect the perimeter.
• Inform supervisor of needed supplies and maintenance needs.
