Celebree School in Westminster, MD is seeking a Center Director to plan and direct operations of the school-age classroom, ensuring alignment with our mission and curriculum. You will supervise staff, maintain engaging displays, and deliver developmentally appropriate activities under Celebree's standards.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have an AA degree in Elementary Education, Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies or a similar discipline.
• Plus 45 clock hrs Child Development and 45 clock hrs Curriculum for School Age Care.
• 9 clock hrs of training in communicating with staff, parents, and the public.
• 400 hours of experience with school children or 1 year of college (30 semester hours).

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct operations of the assigned classroom for school-age activities.
• Provide support and direction to teacher assistant.
• Maintain welcoming classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with weekly themes.
• Counsel children using Conscious Discipline and behavior management techniques.
• Communicate with parents and provide regular updates on development.
• Monitor compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations and company standards.
