Job summary

Celebree Learning Centers in Maryland is seeking a responsible school-age program supervisor to plan and direct operations of the assigned classroom, ensuring the Celebree mission and curriculum are upheld. You will provide support to the teacher assistant, maintain engaging displays, and communicate with parents about progress and activities.

Ideal candidates have relevant education or hours as described, with ability to enforce policies, maintain safety standards, and coordinate with center

Qualifications

• AA (or credit equivalent) in Elementary Education, Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies or similar.
• 40+ clock hours in child development and school-age curricula as listed.
• Training in communicating with staff, parents, and the public (9+ hours).
• Experience with school-age children or equivalent college coursework.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct operations of the assigned classroom for school age activities.
• Provide support and direction to the teacher assistant.
• Ensure compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations and company standards.
• Maintain engaging classroom displays and update Parent Board.
• Develop and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with curriculum.
• Supervise children during activities and use positive behavior management.
• Communicate with parents about development and classroom happenings.
• Collaborate with center director to resolve issues and maintain certifications.
