Celebree School seeks a dedicated leader to plan and direct operations for a school-age classroom, ensuring alignment with Celebree’s values and curriculum. You will support the teacher assistant and uphold a developmentally appropriate learning environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, parent communication, and ongoing adherence to regulatory standards while promoting growth within the Celebree Organization.

Qualifications

• AA (or credit equivalent) in Elementary Education, Psychology, Child Development, Family Studies or similar discipline.
• 45 clock hrs School Age Care curriculum, 9 clock hrs training in staff/public communication, 400 hours with school children or 1 year college (30 semester hours) will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Plan and direct operations of the assigned classroom for school age activities.
• Provide support and direction to the teacher assistant.
• Ensure compliance with MSDE-OCC regulations and company standards.
• Maintain welcoming classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with themes and curriculum.
• Communicate with parents and update on child development and classroom happenings.
• Identify opportunities or problems and coordinate with staff to resolve.
