Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking an experienced Scaffold Builder Leadman in Orange, TX to lead a crew in erection, modification, inspection and dismantling of scaffold systems on industrial projects.

You will read scaffold drawings, assign daily tasks, monitor quality and safety, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations while maintaining project schedules and productivity. Travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a scaffold crew in industrial construction or maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of scaffold systems, erection methods, and load capacities.
• Familiarity with reading scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of scaffold builders during erection, modification, and dismantling.
• Read and interpret scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate installation.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor crew productivity and quality of work.
• Inspect scaffold components for safety and quality compliance.
• Ensure scaffolds comply with OSHA regulations and customer requirements.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and reinforce use of PPE.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment with supervisors to support schedules.
• Train and mentor scaffold builders to improve skills and safety practices.
