Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking an experienced Scaffold Builder Leadman to lead a crew in safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems on industrial projects. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and reliable execution in line with project specifications and company standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive scaffold-building experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity while maintaining schedules and site protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years experience in related field.
• Experience leading crews and coordinating daily work activities.
• Strong knowledge of scaffold systems, erection methods, load capacities, and OSHA scaffold regulations.
• Ability to read scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of scaffold builders during erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffold systems.
• Read and interpret scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work orders for accurate installation.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor crew productivity and quality of work.
• Inspect scaffold components to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and reinforce proper PPE usage.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment with supervisors to support schedules.
• Perform scaffold inspections and address hazards or deficiencies.
• Train and mentor scaffold builders to improve skills and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
