Job summary

BrandSafway in Texas is seeking an experienced Scaffold Builder Leadman to lead a crew responsible for safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems on industrial projects.

The role demands strong leadership, extensive scaffold-building experience, and a solid commitment to safety, quality, and productivity in line with project specs and company standards. Travel to job sites as needed and maintain strict safety and quality standards daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience in scaffold-related field.
• Experience assisting Foreperson with supervision in a crew leader capacity.
• Ability to read scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew during erection, modification, and dismantling.
• Read scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work orders for accurate installation.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity and quality.
• Inspect scaffold components for safety and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and customer requirements.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce PPE usage.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment with supervisors.
• Perform scaffold inspections and address hazards.
• Train and mentor scaffold builders to improve safety and skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
