Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking an experienced Scaffold Builder Leadman to lead a crew in erecting, modifying, inspecting, and dismantling scaffold systems for industrial projects. You will ensure work is performed safely, to specifications, and on schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive scaffold-building experience, and a commitment to safety and quality. Candidates must be capable of traveling to job sites and working at heights with PPE.)

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Scaffold Builder Leadman or Lead Scaffold Builder in industrial construction or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of scaffold builders during erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffold systems.
• Read and interpret scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate installation.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor crew productivity and quality of work.
• Inspect scaffold components before use to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Ensure scaffolds comply with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and reinforce proper use of fall protection and PPE.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment with supervisors to support project schedules.
• Perform scaffold inspections and identify hazards or deficiencies with corrective actions.
• Train and mentor scaffold builders to improve skills and safety awareness.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
