Job summary

The United Illuminating Company, part of Avangrid, seeks an experienced SAP IS-U/CCS specialist to design, configure, test, and deploy production resolutions and enhancements within the SAP Customer Care & Services Systems. You will collaborate with business units, vendors, and IT leads to deliver reliable utility solutions.

Strong SAP IS-U/CCS experience, SDLC proficiency, and leadership across back office billing, revenue recovery, and meter services are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 5 to 7 years relevant experience preferred.
• Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with a minimum of 8 to 10 years relevant experience required.
• High School/GED with a minimum of 10 to 15 years advanced experience in this specific field.
• Requires demonstrated experience with SAP IS-U/CCS (Customer Care and Services) Utility System Architecture, SDLC knowledge, and collaborating leadership skills with technical applications and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Applies SAP IS-U/CCS knowledge to design, configure, and test production resolutions and project enhancements.
• Leads development of technical projects in Billing, Front Office, FICA, Retail Access, and Device Management.
• Provides leadership and guidance to key business areas in decision making and process improvements.
• Develops data analyses regarding production issues, regulatory proceedings, and audits.
• Ensures meter data accuracy, revenue collections, and customer satisfaction.
