Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a SAP IS-U Billing Functional Consultant III to lead complex billing solutions for utility clients. You will gather requirements, design configurations, test, deploy, and mentor junior consultants while engaging clients and driving delivery excellence across multiple engagements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage production support, and stay current with SAP updates and best practices to ensure reliable billing operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP IS-U Billing functional experience.
• Hands-on experience configuring SAP IS-U Billing.
• Experience leading complex implementations and AMS engagements.
• Strong experience with bill print form configuration, rate configuration, and billing exception analysis.
• Understanding of utility meter-to-cash business processes.
• Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting billing issues.
• Strong requirements gathering and functional documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users to gather, document, and analyze requirements for SAP enhancements and projects.
• Configure and support SAP Billing module to meet evolving business needs.
• Lead delivery activities including requirements, documentation, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues to minimize business disruption.
• Develop functional specs for technical teams and coordinate with developers on delivery.
• Maintain system documentation, processes, and user guides.
• Stay current with SAP updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents affecting SAP IS-U Billing processes.
• Support service requests, defect resolution, and minor enhancements.
• Perform root cause analysis for billing issues.
• Execute testing for releases, upgrades, and deployments.
• Collaborate with FI-CA, Device Management, and Customer Service processes.
