Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in the United States seeks a Group Lead, Sample Management to oversee daily laboratory operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant handling of samples across the workflow.

You will mentor employees, manage onboarding and training, coordinate workload, and drive process improvements while collaborating with Project Management and client services to meet commitments and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of sample management processes and TALS.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Sample Management employees to meet performance objectives.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings for feedback and development.
• Coordinate daily department operations, including workload distribution and staffing plans.
• Oversee onboarding and training for new staff.
• Serve as liaison between Sample Management, Project Management, and operations.
• Address employee concerns and resolve performance issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality systems and safety procedures.
