Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific's Global Central Laboratory in Highland Heights, KY is seeking a Technical Lead to coordinate sample events, supervise staff, and ensure robust sample handling and protocol validity in a dynamic lab environment.

The position is fully onsite with a Second Shift (Afternoons), Tuesday–Saturday, 4:00PM–12:30AM ET. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check, including drug screening.

Qualifications

• High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent with relevant formal qualifications.
• Approximately 6 years of related experience.
• Equivalency may be considered for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sample events and oversee sample management tasks.
• Back-up in management absence and act as technical liaison.
• Respond to environmental alarms and participate in on-call duties.
• Deliver tasks accurately, on time, and safely.
