Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Lead Laboratory Accessioning Associate for two second shift openings. Roles involve training staff, accessioning samples into LIS, specimen handling, and ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Two shift options: Mon-Fri 3PM-11:30PM or Tue-Sat 3PM-11:30PM (Sat 10AM-6:30PM). Requires high school diploma with 1 year lab experience; Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum - High School Diploma with 1 year clinical laboratory experience
• Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

• Train staff for new and ongoing procedures.
• Field questions from colleagues throughout the day.
• Reinforce department and company goals with the team.
• Escalate personnel issues to shift supervisor/department managers.
• Maintain logs and record books as assigned.
• Assist in specimen management: unpacking, labeling, transport, tracking, storage, disposal.
• Assist in specimen reception procedures: inventory scans, opening/disposing of unacceptable specimens.
• Enter/accession samples into the LIS.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
