Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a full-time laboratory support role for 2nd shift (1:30 pm – 10:00 pm) with first shift training availability. The position emphasizes sample handling, receiving, packing, and shipping, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and adherence to SOPs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic computer and LIMS aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; LIMS experience helpful.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, and follow SOPs.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs in sample handling and disposal, maintaining safety and accuracy.
• Light laboratory duties and sample receiving duties including documentation.
• Pack and ship samples and prepare client bottle orders.
• Communicate discrepancies with Sample Receiving Manager and ensure proper chain of custody.
• Operate the laboratory information system to track containers and shipping.
• Support chemists and technicians as needed.
