Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to join our store team. You will greet customers, operate the register, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean, safe store.

In the absence of managers, you may lead a small team and ensure policies are followed while delivering excellent customer service. Your responsibilities include unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, handling payments, and assisting with merchandising programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with cash handling and basic math.
• Ability to follow plan-o-grams and merchandising guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks per store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Greet customers and assist locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety throughout shift.
• Provide leadership in absence of management.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation on time.
