Job summary

Dollar General Corporation seeks a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, customer-first store, assist customers with locating and purchasing merchandise, operate a cash register, restock and rotate items, and support store operations under the Store Manager’s direction.

The role includes leading by example in absence of management, ensuring safety and planogram adherence, and contributing to profitability while protecting assets. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases and provide change.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays and maintain planograms.
• Clean the store and assist with overall store upkeep.
• Open/close the store under manager supervision and assist in leadership when needed.
