Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to uphold a clean, organized store with a strong customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and support store leadership in daily operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include leading in the absence of Store Manager, opening/closing, and ensuring planograms are followed. A high school diploma with some supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and presentation guides.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise and operate the cash register.
• Stock, restock, and rotate merchandise; build displays and follow planograms.
• Clean the store and assist with displays; unload and stock merchandise as needed.
• Open/close the store under Store Manager direction; support in absence of management.
