Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. This role involves assisting customers, operating a cash register, stocking merchandise, and helping with planograms.

In the absence of the Store Manager, you may assume a lead role to support profitability and satisfaction. Required: high school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to operate cash register and handle payments.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build merchandise displays following planograms.
• Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under Store Manager direction.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
