Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising guides.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves; build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store and assist with stocking and housekeeping tasks.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms; open/close store as directed.
• Perform duties in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
