Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to follow planograms and merchandising guides in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a full-time position at our Florida stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Receive, unpack, stock, restock and rotate merchandise; build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop floors; clean restroom and stockroom; assist with sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
