You may step into leadership in the Store Manager's absence and support daily store operations.

The role involves frequent walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, and driving necessary for bank deposits and store briefs. A high school diploma or equivalent and some supervisory exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and percentages.
• Ability to operate a cash register and scanner.
• Knowledge of cash handling and deposit procedures.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchase, collect payment, make change, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise; restock and rotate on shelves; build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties typically performed by Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
