Job summary

Bish’s RV, Inc. in California is seeking an experienced RV Technician to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of RV systems, from electrical and plumbing to HVAC and appliances.

You’ll work independently and as a team leader to ensure accurate repairs and high customer satisfaction. You will mentor junior techs, maintain detailed records, install aftermarket options, and complete pre-delivery inspections.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair procedures.
• RVTI certification required or preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
• Have a set of personal tools.
• Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs with assistance and pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Inspect units for customer sales and perform diagnostics.
• Diagnose and repair RV systems including electrical, plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural components.
• Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections and prepare units for delivery.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time tracking.
• Provide on-the-job training to entry-level and mid-level technicians.
• Ensure work complies with safety regulations and dealership standards.
• Keep workspace organized and stocked with tools and materials.
