Job summary

Bish’s RV is seeking an Experienced RV Technician to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of RV systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and chassis components. You will work independently and with the service team to deliver quality workmanship.

This role emphasizes mentorship of junior technicians, strict adherence to safety standards, and accurate record‑keeping to support customer satisfaction and service efficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on RV repair or related mechanical/electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of RV systems and repair procedures.
• RVTI certification.
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
• Must have own set of personal tools.
• Physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs with assistive device; able to stand, crawl, and bend for long periods.
• Willingness to work Saturdays; Sundays off.
• Pass background and drug tests.
• Demonstrate alignment with the Company’s vision, mission, and core values.

Responsibilities

• Inspect units for customer sales.
• Learn and execute Get Ready and customer orientation.
• Diagnose and repair RV systems including electric (AC/DC), plumbing, propane, appliances, HVAC, chassis, and structural components.
• Install aftermarket accessories such as solar panels, satellite systems, leveling jacks, hitches, and awnings.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and prepare units for customer delivery.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time tracking.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to entry-level and mid-level technicians.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and dealership standards.
• Keep workspace organized, clean, and stocked with essential tools and materials.
