Apollo Solutions is hiring an early member of the engineering team to help build high-performance Rust systems at a well-funded seed-stage AI startup. You will influence technical direction, own critical components, and ship scalable infrastructure in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Rust experience building production software.
• Strong background in systems programming, infrastructure, distributed systems or other perf-sensitive apps.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and scalable design.
• Experience profiling, debugging, benchmarking, and optimizing complex production systems.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and take ownership.
• Thrives in fast-paced startup with autonomy and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and evolution of high performance systems in Rust.
• Own critical platform components from architecture through deployment and optimization.
• Build scalable infrastructure and services operating reliably under demanding workloads.
• Design efficient algorithms and data structures to solve complex challenges.
• Drive performance improvements through profiling, benchmarking, debugging, and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with engineers across the business to productionize new capabilities.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the team.
