The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump, a flagship property of Shamin Hotels in Central Virginia, is seeking a Rooms Inspector in our Housekeeping department. Qualifications

• Must have one year experience as a housekeeper or cleaner.
• Strong guest service skills and clear communication.
• Ability to work in stressful, high-pressure situations including handling guest complaints.
• Excellent time management and strong attention to detail.
• Must be discreet and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons in a designated area to ensure rooms and public areas meet standards.
• Support daily operation with Executive Housekeeper and Supervisors; open/close office, lead stand ups, coordinate with Front Desk.
• Assess room inventory, assign rooms for cleaning and inspect rooms.
• Verify and report status and discrepancies of rooms.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance/repair affecting guest areas.
• Perform Room Attendant, Houseperson or laundry duties as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and address issues to ensure a memorable stay.
