Job summary

Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is seeking a Rooms Inspector in our Housekeeping team. The role focuses on supervising Room Attendants and ensuring each room and public area meets cleanliness and quality standards.

Qualifications

• One year experience as housekeeper or cleaner required; supervisory experience desired.
• Strong guest service and clear communication.
• Ability to work under stress and handle guest complaints.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Physically able to move heavy objects and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work day shifts, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons to meet cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and supervisors to support daily operations.
• Inspect rooms, assign and verify status, and report discrepancies.
• Monitor linen rooms and inventories; coordinate with Engineering for maintenance.
• Assist with room attendant, houseperson or laundry duties as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and address issues to ensure a positive stay.
