Job summary

BDI Roofing Group is seeking a Service Foreman to oversee daily roofing operations on assigned commercial service projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This on-site leadership role coordinates materials, equipment, and crews, while maintaining clear communication with the Service Production Manager, customers, and team members.

The candidate will lead roofing crews, ensure compliance with manufacturer specs and safety regulations, monitor progress, and report status.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of roofing experience; prior foreman or lead installer experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems shingles, TPO, EPDM, metal, and coatings.
• Ability to read/understand scopes and job specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple job sites.
• Must be able to work with a fast paced team, multiple projects/jobs and environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise roofing crew/s on commercial service scope, projects including maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all work is performed according to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate daily project activities, including labor, materials, and equipment needs.
• Monitor job site progress, quality, and compliance.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure all workers adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Communicate project status updates, challenges, and progress reports to the Service Operations Manager.
• Collaborate with the team to identify potential changes, delays, or cost impacts.
• Review and verify daily field reports and job site documentation such as photos.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and crews.
