Job summary

Technique Roofing is seeking a Service Foreman to lead day-to-day commercial roofing service work, guide a crew of technicians, and ensure safety, quality, and timely documentation from start to finish.

The right candidate has 4+ years of commercial roofing service experience, can diagnose leaks, enforce safety standards on every jobsite, and communicate repair recommendations to customers. They will mentor technicians and help ensure accurate invoicing. Valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial roofing service experience with at least 2 years leading field crews.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial roofing systems including EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen, and low-slope metal.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex roof leaks and determine effective repair solutions.
• Track record of leading service operations with zero OSHA recordables and TRIR under 1.0.
• Experience directing technicians in the field, coordinating work, and meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Experience communicating repair recommendations to building owners or property managers.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a service crew on day-to-day commercial roofing service calls, repairs, and maintenance work across EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR, Modified Bitumen, and low-slope metal systems.
• Diagnose roof leaks and complex repair scenarios, scope the work, and direct the crew to execute repairs correctly the first time.
• Enforce safety standards on every jobsite, including JHA completion, fall protection, and proper PPE use, with a goal of zero OSHA recordables.
• Identify and document additional repair opportunities on site and communicate recommendations clearly to customers and the office.
• Ensure complete jobsite documentation (photos, repair summaries, job notes) is submitted within 24 hours to support accurate invoicing.
• Train and develop service technicians, building their ability to diagnose and complete complex repairs independently over time.
