Job summary

Consor is seeking an Engineering Designer to lead portions of complex transportation design projects in roadway, multimodal, and intersection design. You will apply engineering judgment, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with project engineers and managers to deliver accurate, efficient, and constructible design solutions.

The role requires a BS in civil engineering, 2+ years of Texas transportation design experience, an EIT certification, and proficiency with MicroStation and OpenRoads

Qualifications

• BS in civil engineering is required.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation design experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with MicroStation & OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Perform advanced design calculations and ensure code/compliance with standards.
• Coordinate design activities across multidisciplinary teams and guide junior staff.
• Assist project engineers with quality control reviews, scheduling, and deliverables.
