Job summary

Consor is seeking a roadway design engineer to support transportation improvement projects by designing and detailing local, county, and state roadway and highway projects. You will perform geometric analyses, calculations, and contribute to design documentation with a hybrid office/field work environment.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, a PE license, 4+ years of transportation experience, and proficiency with Microstation, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum four years of transportation engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCad, and Civil3D software.
• Hybrid office/field environment; occasional exposure to challenging conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
• Support design team in development of design documentation, plans, and reports for tasks and quantity calculations.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.
• Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
• Collect and process data for topographic surveys and right-of-way engineering for design analysis.
