Job summary

Hurst Plaza Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for full‑time, 12‑hour shifts (7a‑7p or 7p‑7a) in Hurst, Texas. The schedule includes Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday, or Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday.

Salary ranges from $36.00 to $40.00 per hour, based on experience. Responsibilities include supervising day‑to‑day nursing activities, directing nursing services, policy maintenance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
Current CPR certification.
Must possess a valid RN license to practice in this state.
Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
Assist in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing services in line with rules and guidelines.
Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures for the nursing service department.
Ensure nursing staff comply with Nursing Service Procedures Manual and relevant regulations.
Perform administrative duties such as charting, reports, and communications with physicians and residents.
