Job summary

Beachwood Post Acute & Rehab is seeking a Nursing Services Director to lead the day-to-day nursing operations in a long-term care facility. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensure compliant care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs.

The role requires a nursing degree, active RN license, CPR certification, and prior long-term care leadership experience. Strong communication and adherence to regulations are essential for quality resident care.

Qualifications

Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
2 years or more experience preferably in a long term care facility.
Current CPR certification.
Must hold an active RN license in the state.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative supervision of nursing staff and ensure policies are followed.
Ensure adequate staffing for tours and daily nursing care needs.
Develop and maintain care plans and discharge planning.
Participate in safety, infection control, and quality assurance programs.
Oversee budgeting, equipment maintenance, and supply management.
Conduct rounds and report to the Director of Nursing Services.
Ensure compliance with regulations and prepare reports as required.
