Job summary

Beachwood Post Acute & Rehab is seeking an Adon–Assistant Director of Nursing to assist the DON in planning, supervising the nursing staff and implementing nursing services. You will recruit, hire and train staff, assist with appraisals and disciplinary actions, and oversee clinical operations including daily rounds and resident safety.

This role involves liaison with residents, families and physicians, attending staff meetings, and providing reports to the DON.

Qualifications

• Requires BSN or equivalent; in good standing with State Board of Nursing and continuing education/licensing.
• 3–5 years of nurse management experience, preferably in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON in planning, developing and supervising nursing staff.
• Assist in development and implementation of nursing services, policies and procedures.
• Recruit, hire and train nursing staff; assist with employee appraisals and disciplinary actions.
