Job summary

Beachwood Post Acute & Rehab seeks an experienced nursing administrator to oversee daily operations of nursing staff in a long-term care facility. You will ensure policy compliance, participate in quality assurance, and manage the discharge planning process while coordinating with physicians and staff.

The role requires a Nursing Degree and an active LPN/LVN license, with strong leadership and English communication skills essential for supervising diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN.
• Leadership and supervisory ability.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day to day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long term care facility.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
• Participate in the facility’s quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Chart all reports of accidents/incidents involving residents.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Supervise nursing service personnel to ensure standards are met.
