Job summary

PACS is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (LPN/LVN) to oversee direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care facility. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, and coordinate day-to-day unit operations.

Responsibilities include charting accuracy, medication administration oversight, staff supervision, and participation in quality assurance, staffing, and discharge planning. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license as an LPN/LVN in this state.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and nursing service manuals.
• Participate in development and maintenance of quality assurance programs.
• Oversee charting, documentation, and medication administration.
• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on the unit/shift.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and staff scheduling.
