Job summary

PACS is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care facility. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and supervise day-to-day nursing activities to maintain high-quality resident care.

You will organize staffing, plan resident care programs, and participate in QA activities, while ensuring accurate charting and timely reporting of incidents and changes in resident conditions.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Oversee adherence to facility policies and procedures by nursing staff.
• Review and update Nursing Service Procedures Manual as needed.
• Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities with your team.
• Maintain and review the Daily Census Report and related records.
• Ensure proper discharge planning and coordination of care with physicians.
