Job summary

HCA Florida West Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN to oversee clinical and operational functions on a designated unit, reporting to the Nursing Director. You will lead the nursing team, ensure high-quality patient care, and participate in care conferences while maintaining compliance with policies.

Qualified candidates hold a Florida RN license (multistate acceptable) and have 1+ years of acute care experience; BSN preferred and credentials such as NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS/BLS,

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required or multistate license with Florida endorsement.
• 1+ year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• BSN preferred; NIH Stroke Scale and ACLS/BLS credentials encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care on the unit during shifts.
• Coordinate patient placement within the unit based on acuity and staff.
• Identify educational needs and lead care conferences with the team.
• Ensure orders are appropriate and carried out in a timely manner.
