Job summary

HCA Florida West Marion Hospital is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our healthcare team. The role provides direct nursing care per established policies and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

You will implement care plans, monitor patient status, coordinate discharge planning, and carry out physician and nursing orders in a fast-paced environment. Florida RN licensure and ACLS/BLS within specified timelines are required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing and Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/AHA) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• No travel required.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
